Political Advocacy: Voices of Filipino millennials can influence the outcome for social justice issues at the Hawai`i State Legislature, UH Board of Regents, Congress, and beyond. How? This DIY workshop empowers you with tips to write, submit, and present testimony to create and change laws that help, not hurt our community. Designed to form a rapid response network of Filipino young leaders to impact public policy, in just 50 minutes, you will gain lifelong skills to advocate for:
• Student employment at all UH campuses
• Pamantasan Conference funds for statewide leadership development
• Drivers License Movement
